London, England (CNS) - Russian model Natalia Vodianova has designed lingerie collection for Etam, the high street brand of the eighties and early nineties. The chain that failed to survive in Europe, recently received a glamour dose when it chose Vodianova as its brand ambassador.
The 26-year-old uber model invited some of her close friends to an Etam catwalk show at The Ritz, Vogue.com reports. The audience was able to watch her debut the newest designs for s/s 09 and included Lou Doillion, Eva Herzagova and Princess Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco, Elle magazine reports.
The collection of Natalia pour Etam will include polka dot sets, a grey lace corset and a silk night gown. Most of her desings are inspired by her personal collection.
"What I realised when designing this is how feminine I am - I'm feminine to the bone. I wanted the line to be for women who are not afraid, who like to play," Natalia said of her range. The collection will be available in selected outlets from April.
